Canon IXUS 110

Hi guys,

I js wanted your quick opinion. My Camera (Canon IXUS 110 IS) came today from amazon. YAY! But 2 things...

The HD video mode doesnt well look very HD. Im not expecting something from like a camcorder bt doesnt really even look like the HD you see on you tube. And yes it is in HD mode lol.

Bt number 2 which is more concerning. In video mode there is blue dot on both the screen and the video ive uploaded to my computer. The dot is about a pixel size. Grrr. I'm going to call amazon tomoro and get them to replace it.


Any thoughts on the HD issue appreciated!

From what I have read online, the HD video quality from that unit is poor at best. Were you using it in low light? This can affect quality significantly.

As for the second issue. If there is a blue dot on the screen and image you should return the item as defective.
