I've read some mixed reviews here on the iPhone 3G/3GS battery cases so I thought i'd add mine to the pile. When I bought my first iPhone two years ago, I didnt really see a need for an additional battery/juice and I think Apple's designers thought the same. But when I got the 3G last year, with all the Apps and games that I've downloaded, around the last 3-5 months of its life, my iPhone was always drained in the mid day So I purchased my first battery case by mophie: www.mophie.com (http://www.mophie.com)

It was bulky and heavy, I got the new Mophie just before I switched to the 3GS and immidiatly returned it due to hardware issues I had with it. My phone would turn sooooo hot that I couldnt hold it any longer.

I then based on an Apple store employee's recommendations, purchased the new battry case from Covercase: www.covercase.com (http://www.covercase.com/battery-cases.html) last week and have been using it non-stop for the past 4 days. It's amazing. I like the fact that it doesnt get hot at all, it has the LED indicatior in the front with the status button and best of all it has a shiney finish to it just like the iPhone 3GS.
The way the case is designed on the bottom makes my music sound better and i'm not blocking the speaker while i'm playing games. Great product, five stars.
