Can you put a USB hub on your single Airport's USB Port? In effect, have 2 printers, or 2 scanners?

I noticed when the Airport Extreme first came out, my printer was given an IP. Now, however, if it is given an IP its off the scale.

I would guess that the USB port was designed for Printers only and not any other USB device

Your welcome to try anyways :D

I'd assume that anything would work but only if you had the right drivers for them. And the chances are they don't exist unless you write your own.

If you want to share USB devices, you might want to check out keyspans USB server product at:

http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/server/

I have never tried it, but it seems to allow you to share USB devices over a network. I don't know if it will work when plugged into the Express USB port.
