pro '09 network 'hangs'

doesnt matter what browser i use or what i try to do, it just goes nowhere, it takes forever to connect to my macbook etc, is there anyway i can just reset the network interface?

What interace are you using? Wireless? Wired?

You can easily reset whatever router you have; read the manual on it. If that doesn't work, then its a software system.

using wired, i have reset the router, it seems to be just affecting this machine whatever it is.

it actually wasnt my pro causing the problems, it was my homeplugs, i hadnt been paying attention to the activity lights, but they were dead
