Cant Add iMAC to Windows 2003 Server Domain

Hi There,
Could you please help me out of it? My MAC goes like busy and hang if I try to connect it with our windows 2003 Domain and it wont connect.
Is there any special configuration to follow in any of these systems?

Assuming you have AD setup correctly on the Mac....

Login with your AD credentials.
Wait for the spinny beach ball of death
Uplug your network cable
Wait 15 seconds
Plug back in.
TA-DA!

Wow... it worked. At first i thougt you were joking or sth like that.
Now that i am connected with AD.. i found that 'My Document' of MAC is not synchronizing with my original 'My Document'. is it possible to do it? I can connect manually from 'go-->go to server-->...'; but i would like to know a direct method.
