This is about a new thread that popped up in forum spy the " Chances of locking a front page discussion thread?" It shows both the original post and the first reply with a replies amount of "0". Is this due to a moderated/deleted post? I took a screenshot of it, and the problem was fixed upon a page refresh. I am using Safari BTW.

A lot of times it happens when I reply to a post very quickly after it showing up in Spy. Happens to others as well.

I have noticed the same issue with my Forum Spy. Seems like a bug with vBulletin.

It happened again with your post *you must be lucky* there was 3 minutes before you posted the reply. Forum Spy must not like you and thinks your posts don't count. ;) See here again:

Post count includes the first post. That is shown in the top right corner of the post. Reply count is shown on the front page and beside the thread on the forum index. Forum spy shows this too. (I think) I really do not use forum spy much.

The numbers are the same with the "reply Count" shown on the forum index page

MacRumors wrote the Forum Spy. It's not part of vBulletin although it relies on the same database.

I have seen other forums with a "spy", Did MacRumors create the original one, and other forums are just copy cats?

Here I notice it happening again. Can anyone verify this happening in Firefox?

I've seen it before, but I don't see it for the posts you show in the attachment.

Refreshing the page always fixes it, and it happens to other's posts I see too, not just mine.

Ours was written independently of others that preceded and followed it.

I used to be a fan of Digg's spy, but I'm less enamored of the Big Spy (http://labs.digg.com/bigspy/) they replaced it with.

Seems to be really prevalent today. Even 20 minutes afterwards.
