lead to a surge in the amount of posting?

I know it makes it really convienent to post. Before fs, it wasn't as easy

I am curious if fs has lead to more posting for macrumors among the mre active posters and members alike or if the site has just gotten very popular over the years

I hardly ever use forum spy. I somehow made 1000 posts in 6 months without it.

I think it is a combo of both. I know for one that I would post a LOT less if I had to constantly refresh and look through different pages. I like sitting on page, and watch all the action unfold in front of me. Are there any other forums using a "forum spy" like page? I think the spy makes it much easier and simpler to post, and therefor benefits seasoned posters as well as newbies (if they know about it).
