So I am giving serious thought to ditching my "broadcast" service (I've had DirecTV, Dish and even U-verse). AppleTV sounds like a great choice with one big problem- I can't seem to find the TV shows American Idol or So You Think You Can Dance on iTunes.
If I can't get these at the very least within a few days of their original air date, my wife will never go for the Apple TV system (and I would have to agree as these are hugely popular shows).
Am I missing something or, alternatively, is there another way she can obtain the shows in an HD format via Apple TV to be shown on our HD TV (ie, not a computer monitor)?
