Having an issue locating ipsw

Im having a slight issue with the ipsw. I'm downloading the 3.0 update file but When I download the file it downloads as a regular folder so I am unable to rename the zip or locate the file within the folder. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, hopefully someone can enlighten me.

BTW, im working on jailbreaking a 3gs

Can't you press command + i and then just change the name from that window? And maybe you should try downloading with the Safari/Firefox to see if it helps using a different browser.

I may not be explaining it very well, but when I look at the step by step guides it shows the ipsw file as a cube icon, the one i get is just a regular folder and renaming it does nothing. Just stays like the regular folder, it downloads like that too. I'll try firefox see if that helps though, thanks.
