Nothing too complicated here. On my powerbook G4 1.5 15", I'm trying to determine if I remembering something incorrectly or not. It seems to me that the little light located on the button that unlatches the computer used to be on in a steady state when the power was on (but the computer not asleep) and pulsed when the computer was asleep. It will now pulse if I put the computer asleep, but isn't on otherwise. So - other folks with Alum. PB 15"ers, is that little light supposed to be on in a steady state when the computer is on or is my mind playing tricks on me in fabricating that recollection??

Thanks. Sanity at stake.

My PB is on right now, but the little light is off.

For your information, the power light when the PowerBooks and iBooks are on is the Apple symbol that's on the back of the LCD display.
