I have a rev C tibook, which I installed a panasonic uj 815 (2x superdrive) in. After I first installed it, the system profiler could see the drive, but listed disc burning as not supported. After I found a firmware update, in 10.3.3, the drive was recognized and disc burning was supported. After I upgraded to 10.3.4, that support has been broken, and I can only use toast to burn cds and DVDs, not the finder or itunes.
Has anyone found an update, trick, or hack to get disc burning supported again in 10.3.4?
