Hello,

I am working on open source alternative firmware to the iPod Touch. This firmware is based on the Linux kernel. I have the firmware kernel, the bootstrap loader, ipsw manipulator done which was picked up from another project. In addition we got a library of images/icons done. A lot has been completed but we need additional developers to help out in the project.

We do get donations from various people and whenever we get them I will distribute them to those who help out.

Would anyone be interested?

This type of post is against the forum rules; asking for donations is not permitted. Nor is asking for people to work on things. Reported.

You can't use anything of Apple's in your fake firmware.

I wouldn't recommend doing this at all. If Apple's firmware isn't good enough, buy from someone whose is.
