Panther Windows Printer Sharing

Hey there....


I have a G4 Power Mac running Panther that I would like to be able to share it's USB HP Photosmart 7350 printer with an XP box on the network. I have followed all the guides from macosxhints and have been able to map to the printer via internet printing in XP. However when I send the jobs they just sit in the CUPS queue. If I log out of the machine the jobs start printing. Anyone know how to get this to work in real time?

You log out of which machine?

The Mac. If I logout, but do not shut down, the jobs begin printing while I watch the login window.
