Those of you who have heard DJ Shadow know that he is one of the most talented and versatile dj/producers of today, having worked with everyone from Blackalicious to Depeche Mode. The genius of his music is spawned from the hours he spends digging for those fresh samples that layer the lush soundscapes of every song. On June 15th, he released a new DVD/CD featuring a 2 hour live performance from his 2002 tour of the UK. The show features the dopest cuts from his solo albums and collaborations with other artists like, Zach from Rage and Thom Yorke of Radiohead. Shadow rocks atop 2 sets of tables and an mpc sampler, adding scratches and beats bumpin’ funk out the speakers. This show is made unique by the trippy visuals beaming from huge screens behind the stage that flash and pulse “On Time” with the music. DJ Shadow’s new DVD “In Tune and On Time” is a cinematic experience you don’t wanna miss, if ya’ll wanna know where hip-hop is headed, check ya’ shadow.

is it just me or does this post sound like one of those infomercials with the weird / typical radio narrator voice spouting the monologue. DJ shadows good and everything, but I don't think I've ever seen 'dopest' on this board before.
