Hi,

I am in the UK and want to buy a cool messenger-style bag online. Any ideas where to look?

I am a teacher, so need to carry loads of stuff, most of which is A4 in size. I want something super-durable, with loads of pockets and compartments.

Any suggestions gratefully investigated.

Steve.

I have a Timbuk which is huge and great but for my small Air I use this wonderful Swiss Gear bag. It's not big enough for you but if you look along those two lines it'll be great.

The Timbuk2 bags look great, but $55 shipping to the UK is a bit steep! Thanks for the Swissgear idea, though.

Steve.

What's your budget?

Are you looking for something that looks classy, rugged and utilitarian, or trendy in some way?

For my laptops I've used both Lowepro and Targus. I would happily recommend both and they each make messenger style bags which is my preference. In fact, I just picked up my newest Targus Messenger style bag from Fry's while it was on rebate. It's hard to beat a $50 bag on sale for $39 with a $25 dollar rebate. If you check out Frys.com they have rebates like this every so often. The one I did expired last week so I'm not sure if they have anything going on right now and I don't know what shipping to the UK would be.

Ben Sherman makes really nice bags for guys, but they are a bit expensive. I will say though that the quality makes the price well worth it

I'm using the Oakley S.I. computer bag. Lots of pockets with a well padded strap. It's extremely durable and influenced by the military.
