Does anyone know why you'd want to?

Edit: Okay, okay--I hate when people post nasty stuff instead of answer a question, so I'll do both. You can Google this.

Yeah, I'm using it too...you gotta see a whole Finder window under the XP theme to be convinced that it's worth downloading.

Sorry, I do EVERYTHING I can to make my computer NOT look like Winblows...tell me again why in the world I would want my machine to resemble a two bit piece of crap?

I really don't want a machine that looks like a BILLION others...I will be perfectly happy if mine resembles me and not a billiion people. :D

They do have some other cool downloads on that site, but I don't try too many of those add on things...I really need my machine to be reliable right now while in grad school. When I am done I will play with all sorts of downloads,e tc.

IF you saw additional screenshots (like this one (http://forums.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=14663) from this thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=75202)) then you'll see that I'm not the only person that (specifically, cb911 as well) likes the strong blue of the Mac OS XP theme. And from using Windows on public PCs since Windows 98, Windows XP is by far the most attractive looking (excluding Longhorn, since I haven't used it). Just because you're running a Mac doesn't mean everything running on it can't be Microsoft. Sure, you might not like the company for whatever reasons, but You're still running OS X, which means if you install the theme Mac OS XP over OS X, you'll still be running OS X, but it'll look a lot different. So that's why some Mac users might want their Macs to resemble XP. Besides, one purpose of installing themes is to change the appearance of OS X so that one thinks (prob. by opinion) that OS X looks better "this way."

yeah, they already do... and have for along time... my computer looks exactly like OS X and its windows xp... i can even fool some novice mac users... the only difference is those green and red circles you see in the top left of your windows are in the top right of mine... but they look the same... the taskbar looks the same... and thanks to object dock i have that dock that you have in the bottom of your screen... also thanks to trillion and themes, i have a messenger that looks like ichat av...
