Simplify Media 2 data usage question

Does it matter if the iTunes library you are streaming from is Apple Lossless or AAC? Does one or the other use more data in the stream?
 
I thought it had a limit on it's streaming quality? I would imagine it would be about the same. Why are you worried about hitting phantom data "cap"?

I am using Sprint MiFi with iPod Touch and it has a 5gb cap. AT&T 3g SUCKS in San Francisco.

I work for Verizon, and they have the MiFi too, how do you like it. Do you get decent coverage/speed, or do you roam on VZW's network often?
