I learned this by accident actually that the touchscreen on the iphone isn't actually a "Touch Screen". It doesn't sense touch in terms of force. It senses touch in terms of tissue conductivity. I learned this because I accidentally sat on my iphone and crushed the screen. It was cracked into pieces BUT the touchscreen still worked - Amazing. Also, if you try touching the iphone screen with something other than human tissue - it won't work.

The screen also responds to a kind of candy we dutchies call ‘drop’ (picture (http://www.perfettivanmelle.nl/BLX-WEBSIT/_rtimage/Drop-op-wit.jpg)). At least the larger & softer kind.

I'm bored so to test it I locked my iPhone and then wiped the screen with my microfiber cloth and it unlocked.

Looks like link spam. I'm surprised the mods haven't said something yet.

Start a thread with a sensational title, and make sure the original post has your website listed in the main body (so people w/ signatures turned off are still subjected to it).

Did you see his other thread?

A terrible thing happened to my iphone. I was on vacation, while on vacation I went for a swim without realizing that the iphone was still on me. So the phone got soaked.
I mean, .. really? In this thread he's broken the screen. In this other thread he's gone swimming with it?

It depends on the electrical properties of the material and the proximity to your skin, I think... that's why there are also things like those gloves with the special nubs on the fingertips that let you use an iPhone with gloves on...

(Which reminds me that they were out of stock last winter and look like they're coming back on the market in September... I really want a pair for using my iPhone while walking to work this winter...)

Ive used my cats nose, my nose, my toe, and I know you can use another male appendage to unlock the screen.

The mod also removed the link to his site from this thread, so I guess without that, it's OK. (and also pointless for the OP) :)
