I have a 1.5Ghz aluminum PowerBook with the upgraded hard drive (to 5400rpm :D ). Anyway, I was curious about what hard drive was in it. So I looked in Apple System Profiler and googled the hard drive model it gave me. What I came up with surprised me a bit, apparently it has a 16mb cache. Can that be right? Because I thought that 8mb was supposed to be good, and that most only have a 2mb cache. Just thought that was interesting.

So is 16mb cache normal for a laptop hard drive or is the one Apple put in really good?
