whenever I download a file from safari, my download stops and it gives me an error message. Help?

You cannot download files using the mobile version of Safari on the iPhone or iPod touch.

You can if you are jailbroken.

There are many apps out there that will allow you to browse and download files, even on non-jailbroken iPhones.

Mobile Safari won't do it though.
