Does that mean you can use those cards with a Mac? Or am I just ignorant and don't know what OEM means?

seems it unlocks features only found on retail versions of the cards in OEM versions of the cards.

in other words, the raedon card that came with your mac can now do some new stuff that only raedon cards bought seperately at the store could do.

If you've got a low-end video card, don't bother downloading it. All it really opens up is extra FSAA options, which will bring down your framerate even more.

In fact, the only redeeming thing I found about it was the option to turn on de-interlacing for Apple's DVD Player.

However, I wish I hadn't installed it, because now I fear there are little programs floating around my HD I don't want or need, just taking up space.
