RedSn0w processing firmware

Hey All,

new to jailbreaking, just a quick question...

I have the 3gs w/ firmware 3.01... in the instructions it says to point to the 3.0 ipsw file... I downloaded that pointed to it... now its "Processing Firmware"... its been doing it for about 10minutes.... how long is it suppose to take to process it? Any reason why at this stage it should take this long?

Should take less than 10 minutes.

Close it and try again. Make sure you have downloaded/using redsn0w v 0.8 NOT 0.7.

yah, i left it for like 30-40mins nothing... closed it down, reopened, and it did it in 2 minutes... weird.. oh well, everything is working well now! Backgrounder/3g unrestrictor are sweet. Thanks!
