Fax shareware?

What's the best fax shareware? I have to send a document to the Chinese Embassy here and they don't have email (!!!)

I'll probably never have to send a fax again, so I'm just looking for some good shareware that works easily and doesn't mess up the other stuff on the computer.

I'm using broadband, by the way, not dialup. Wireless broadband. Yoke on the roof.

If you're using Panther, you should use what's built into the operating system. Also, Smith Micro has made FaxSTF version 10.5 available for free.

You'll need to plug the machine into a phone jack to send faxes btw.

Yep. The easiest is to use the built-in FAX application that comes with Panther. Choose Print and then click on the FAX button. The wizard will do the rest for you. You will indeed have to be connected to a modem line (or a single phone line).
