How to post actual pictures not text links?

Hello sorry for this question but I wanted to post some pictures but not as text links but as the actual pictures on my thread. I clicked the add image icon on the toolbar above, entered my photobucket direct link and when I posted it and saved changes the link was still a text link only but with IMG infront and at the end. Am I doing something wrong? Also can this be done with videos too? Thanks.

It should work, are you making sure you are entering in the correct link? Also embedded videos aren't allowed on MR.

Yes I believe I'm putting in the correct link from pb. The direct link. I would post the link that is showing but I don't want to get hemmed for spamming. Maybe it's cuz I'm on my iPhone?

Note: you can also go down below the first submit reply and preview post buttons and click "Manage Attachments" in there. A new window will come up with options to upload images from your computer.
