Ipod Touch 2g becomes fully charged in 2 hours only?!

Hi, I have an apple ipod touch 2g which charges using the dedicated Apple Charger in 2 hours (the fully charged icon shows up). should I leave it for another 2 hours as recommended by apple or unplug it and start using the device?

That doesn't sound extraordinarily fast to me. I feel like my iPhone charges somewhat faster than that. I'd say take it out and use it if it says it's full!
