Newsgroups in Mail

Is there any way to get Mail to view newsgroups? If not, why the heck not? It seems silly for Apple to have left this basic, common functionality out of their e-mail application.

I think it's understandable to leave newsgroups out of mail. Really, so few people use newsgroups, and the programs that are dedicated to them do it so much better.

Have you seen Unison? It's a pretty awesome newsgroup program:
