I just bought an unlocked 1st gen iPhone.

I have not been able to get the data plan to work (from AT&T). Someone suggested changing the APN, but I have not been able to do so for since I can't get to the point to chnage it.

Here's the problem:
When I go to Settings -> General -> Network ---- I don't see APN, I just see VPN, Wi-Fi.

Do I need to do the reset network settings under Reset?

Is there something else I need to be doing?

Thanks.

This is an option. If you point your phone's safari browser to the link below, it will let you change the APN.

I am not able to access internet from my iPhone, so Safari doesn't work. Says data connection not authorized.

Any other help?

Thanks.

Thanks. I used Wi-Fi and got to the site. Where do I go to change the APN? Can't find a link there?

Just got to unlockit.co.nz (don't put the /unlock it) in there.
