I am looking for simple mixing software like MixMeister (http://www.mixmeister.com/products_mmexp6.html)

I just want to mix some mp3 files together.

Don't know MixMeister, but Audacity (open-source/freeware) will let you load MP3s and mix them to your hearts content.

GarageBand will do what you want although it is not automated. You will have to move the song along the time line by hand to match the beats. But the best thing is the you already have GB.

iTunes will make a mix but it is primitive

There is also DJ software available. Something like this

Virtual DJ is free (for the home edition) and even lets you record your mixes.

Get Ableton, it's the best program for that.

Search Apple.com in the downloads section. Search words DJ and you will find some.
