I have a 3gs that is Jailbroken and Unlocked using redsnow. Will this phone work in australia with their sim?

No 3G S can be unlocked by redsn0w. Only jailbroken. Once it is jailbroken you can add the source repo666.ultrasn0w.com and then download "ultrasn0w" to unlock the phone, then it will accept any sim card.

If it actually is unlocked ... then why wouldn't it work there?
