Run cracked iPhone apps on the desktop?

First let me say that I have not jailbroken my iphone and am not very comfortable with doing it for my own reasons. So in response to my question, please do not consider jailbreaking the iPhone as an option or solution.

I want to know if there is some way to run cracked iPhone apps on my mac desktop as a way of demoing the app before I buy it. Is this possible via the iPhone SDK or some other means?

I don't know how much help you're going to get running pirated apps from this forum. Even if you try and make it sound innocent by claiming to do it as only a sampling of apps, it's still piracy.
