It's time to Old Yeller Brett Favre.

Enough already.

How embarrassing to do this every year. Hey, if he didn't leave the Jets, we'd probably not have drafted Mark Sanchez, the 8th reincarnation of Joe Namath.

8th? That number seems far too low :p

So we know the Vikings won't go to the SuperBowl this year.:p

Let's see...

Richard Todd
Ken O'Brien
Browning Nagle
Boomer Esiason
Neil O'Donnell
Vinny Testaverde
Chad Pennington
Brett Farve
Mark Sanchez

I guess he's the 9th. :D

Didn't he cry and retire like 14 times? The man have any shame?

*sigh* I'm so tired of him and this act. I can't imagine it being easy giving up something one is very good at and makes a living at, but he needs to just go away.

Or find something new to do- a new mountain to climb. People like Favre don't just go away- they're driven, and don't do well sitting still.

Doesn't Lenny Dykstra need a driven business partner?

I just hope he has a good security detail on November 1st. As a former cheesehead myself, that's gonna be an AWESOME game to watch just for the fan reactions...

Come on-let's give Brett a little more credit than that.

The Vikings suddenly became interesting this season. Where is TCD :D

I'll be watching. That will be an epic/hyped game on Sunday, November 1st @ Lambeau Field.

I just might have to ask my uncle for his tickets he has to that game. He's a humongous packer fan and goes to almost every home game. My opinion : Packer's fans have stuck behind him for 10 + years, and this is how he repays us? I don't care if it was his or Thompson's fault, to go to the Vikqueens after "retiring" twice is the final blow to me.

Don't worry..You can be assured that in a big game and with the season on the line, Favre will launch one of his trademark off balance, across the body and field, wounded ducks. Which will end up in the hands of a defender. Thus ending his team's season, just like in numerous years gone by...And he'll yet again be lauded as "the courageous gunslinger"

Thank you, I try.

It boggles my mind. It really does.
