can anyone help me, i installed the glass orb theme but the dock still only takes 4 icons.

what am i missing?

is there a step by step guide to use the glass orb dock with its icons without using the theme?

try glass orb color, I think thats what you're looking for

The theme "might" require Five Icon Dock from Cydia, but I am not sure.

That's where your issue lies. I'm not sure why they don't include it in the download but it's a quick and easy download/install.

1. Its not theirs to include.
2. Could create a conflict if you already have 5-icon installed and the theme tries to install it as well.

This is a really cool theme, btw. Definitely one of my favorites.

The way I used the GO dock without the rest of the theme was to install 5-icon dock, as mentioned, and then install the GO theme. I SSH'ed into it and deleted all icons from it other than those that are on the dock, dragged it above the theme I'm using in Winterboard et voila--I had the GO dock and nothing more from that theme. :)

Five icon dock will solve your problem. I love that theme, I had it for about 6 months straight, and used the blanks orb file to create my own icons for ones that were missing. :)

i like the theme, it just needs a lot of customizing like the background/wallpaper is so ****!!!! im not too keen on the icons though as u say u gotta make new icons, i just want the old ones back so i can have everything looking the same.

there is a thread that explains how to but for me its too much work, thats why i just used the standard icons. all i did was delete them from the theme!

Just how I said in my post? :confused: Use the blank orb icons that come included in the file (you have to ssh to get it). Then I would get a image that I want to use, and make it white/grayscale and shrink it and put it over the blank orb. I do all this in CS3.

yes, but a far as i know the maker of the glass orb theme is not making any new icons anymore so u will have t do it yourself- which include what the previous post said. thats y i just use the standard icons. (how do i post a image, do u need a url address)

Yes and click the picture icon and paste in the url, or click the paperclip icon and upload the image there.

Its an awesome theme. One of the best available I would say :cool:
