Put the kind of computers you own in your BIOGRAPHY...so everyone can see what you have...

i have a 300 mhz ibook, the original blueberry one with the 3 GB hard drive

my mac before that was a powermac clone with a 604e processor running at 185 mhz

the mac before that was a performa with a 601 running at 60 mhz

the mac before that was a performa-600 with a 33 mhz 040

the two machines before that were apple IIe's

and i have a non-working quadra just waiting for a new lithium battery but i wouldn't know what to do with such an old machine at this point plus i would need to find a monitor and i'm not sure if the remaining monitor with my performa-600 would do the job

btw...cs lewis is cool...did you see that movie with anthony hopkins as cs lewis with deborah winger?

I have a PowerBook G4 500 for personal & freelance use...

A PowerMac G4 400 for work...

and my first Mac was a Starmax 3000/160 which I upgraded with a Sonnet G3 350 Mhz upgrade card as well as other goodies...

There is my breakdown.

My first Mac was a Mac Plus. Man, I was in elementary school and all over MacAttack and Superpaint. Made little games and movies with Hypercard and liked Beyond Dark Castle when my dad upgraded to the SE. Didnt see a Mac until I got to college. Thats when I bought the G3 266. Mmm hmm. Fun fun. Had a 400 mhz G3 powerbook, but dumped that to get the TiBook.

Use the TiBook now and run my entire business from it. The iMac is for the others who come in and out of the shop, also plays MP3s and DVDs while I am working. The 266 is in the print shop for research and running File Maker. Has RCA in and out which comes in handy from time to time.

The iPod is awesome. Airport2 is tight.

well I think we should put them in the signature line like most of the other sites I have seen do. then you dont got to hunt. i dunno guess it doesnt matter.

this way if someone has a hardware or software issue, others can see what machine they are referring to

its been in the Bio all along but I guess I will put it as my signautre too... for those that dont make the effort to click.

Mac IIVx 33Mhz, 16MB RAM, 250MB HD, SCSI Eazy Drive

233Mhz Baige G3, 32MB RAM, 4GB HD

Rev-A iMac, installed 466Mhz G3, 192MB RAM. 4GB HD

867Mhz G4 Quicksilver, 1.2GB RAM, USB 2.0 PCI card, 60GB HD

Maybe it would be nice to have the signature line down a couple point sizes, I thin having your hardware listed is tight, but it is making the pages super long. 10px os something would do.

In some cases where the user has multiple computers, it can possibly become a bit unclear, don't u think?
