Hi experts :)
I was wondering if someone could advice me on which type of connection (cables) would be the best for me to use to get the best audio and video on my Philips Plasma TV. Below I put the options from the user manual.

Can someone please advice me what the best way would be for me to hook up my mac mini?
Thanks a lot!!!

you'll need a mini display port to DVI, Check out monoprice
http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10246&cs_id=1024604
and for audio out of the tv an 3.5mm male to male (regular headphone plugs)
also from monoprice (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021802&p_id=644&seq=1&format=2)
or if you have a stereo with an optical input port, a toslink to mini cable, which would allow you to get true surround if your movie has it.

Hi, sorry for more Q's but just want to be sure. Is the cable you advised the same as http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB570Z/A (and then offcourse adding a DVI cable to connect to the TV and the Adapter?) BC the site you advised is out of stock and I need by the end of next week.
Also is there a difference in the video quality between using the Mini-DVI out and the Mini display out?
Thanks for your help!

Mini DVI to DVI will give you the same picture as mini display port to DVI
