I guess I'm another victim of having a bulging battery. Just noticed it a few minutes ago on my November 2007 MacBook. 
I can feel the cells near the middle of the battery have expanded. Part of the battery cover is pushed up.
Did a quick search on here, and I noticed there are threads a couple of weeks to a month old on this issue. Could it be MacBooks made in late November 2007 have batteries that are dying around this time?
Anyone else got their batteries replaced in the second or third year of the extended AppleCare?
Hopefully AppleCare will replace it... money is kinda tight now. Appointment is on Saturday at the Regent Street store, finger's crossed!
