Holy crap that was pretty funny. The people in the background made it even better. I love that he just did it, no matter how utterly silly he looked.

That song is horrible but they just need to tack an Apple logo on the end and make it a commercial... :D

Wild. This kid pulls off this in public and hardly anyone seems to notice. Why don't ordinary people appreciate the extraordinary?

Kudos to the kid. Funny.

Like the look on some folk's faces as they walk by and watch.

Haha this kid is the man.
It's great that he doesn't care about what other people think about him.

Apple needs to hire this kid to make commercials.
Just a 30 second spot, have funny reactions from people.
Idk. Switch every 5 seconds to different stores.

I know right. Apple should do like some viral thing where they have a song playing and then people dance out of nowhere. That would be awesome:D

Very cool. The spaced out dude has become an unwitting Internet star. I like when he turns around and shrugs when he sees his little audience.

These are the two that made me laugh, in addition to the stroller dude.
It was like the older lady was say "f it!"

Let see if anyone busts out into spontaneous lip-sync in a Microsoft store...

awesome.

tis a shame he's using the music he is... at least pick something from their first album if anything.. mute point aside, takes some real guts to do that and may it only start a trend of 'notes from the applestore'.. other performers.. ect... apple wins + performers win...

2nd the idea of flying this kid around the country/world to other apple stores to make a composite lipsync to the next tune for an apple commercial...

Yeah, the people in the background looking at him like WTF make the video great.
I give the kid props for filming that in the store like that.

This kid was featured on Yahoo!
I saw this thread yesterday and watched a bunch of his vids.

Today I went to Yahoo's main page (with all the featured stories) and he's right there!

Maybe better to go home, do his homework, maybe learn something about family life. Hell, just learn about something. Get a meaningful interest or hobby. You know. Might serve his future better.

The kid apparently did this at the Apple Store because he didn't have a computer at home. Clever of him. Hopefully, someone will donate a Mac to help him out.

no. it doesn't matter why he did it. he got over 100,000 hits on youtube, and didn't do it to get a computer

Funny video. I wish I had the guts to do that in public without the aid of alcohol. The girl in the short jean shorts with black hair at 2:51 is hot.

:apple:

How do you know he hasn't done his homework? He might be top of his class at school for all you know.

I would sooner he spent his time messing about in the Apple store doing something which entertains millions of people than get up to the sort of trouble you often hear young people indulging in.

I could see this starting a little phenomenon. If he does it regularly enough and gets known well enough people will want to be in the background of the videos.....:D

And yes to the person above it's the 5th ave new york apple store. Perfect place for it.

The quality of that camera seems very nice for an iSight.

in a well lit atmosphere it is more than possible to achieve the same picture quality on an iSight... It's all about lighting...

Yep, whenever I'm skyping anyone I always turn on my bendy 60W desk lap and point it straight at myself. The picture quality is far and away better than anyone else's.:)
