Looking for a decent price on an Iphone Video Out cable that will work with 3.0. Anyone know of one?

I can tell you this. About 6 months ago apple told stores to purge the long component cable/charger, to make way for a new one.

I suspect at the upcoming apple sept event they will announce some new video out options so I would definately wait.

There will be people here taht will tell you about one that will work, but i would wait for apples new design.

I'd say just buy the legitimate Apple cable, because everything else is a crapshoot in terms of compatibility.

My dual charger av output cable from apple works like a champ. 3.0, 3.1 dont matter. Wife and I watch movies from our iPhones with it. Best accessory we bought for our iPhones and iPods.

The 3GS is crying out for a HDMI cable, since it can playback high profile video now. Here's hoping.

Does the 3GS real do high def output? What resolution?

The 3GS is capable of doing 1080p without a hitch. Problem is Apple disabled that ability. :(

Not trying to threadjack from the OP, but I would like to find component to work with my 3GS that doesn't cost as much as the OEM. I know it sounds cheap, but I probably won't use it more than a dozen times a year.

It's weird, I received mine as a gift and I've used it 30+ times in the classroom and it was awesome...:cool:
