Snow Leopard style Dock HUD

Just knocked up a Snow Leopard style Dock HUD in Ai:

I have attached a CSS version, so you can play around with it. You can set the transparency of the HUD panels, using the 'style.css' file.

Looks nice. The next trick is to get the OS to recognize it as something other than a graphic and to scale and place icons in it on the fly. This is where Dock graphics loose me...

It barely looks different from the current one... so the work to chop it up into the dock resources isn't worth it to me.

No no no no! you miss the point, which is that I am EMULATING the current one, to be used on web pages etc. I am not re-inventing the wheel!.

Do you have a javascript/css dock yet? Side mounted would be nice. :D
