App to allow location services while in sleep mode?

I want the TomTom app to run with the screen off so I can just follow the voice instructions and not waste battery with the screen being on. Problem is, with the screen off, location services are also turned off so TomTom gives up. Anyway to keep location services on while the screen is off?

Not currently. You can turn the brightness down on the screen temporarily while you are using it, that is sorta a lame work-around. :o

Get a car charger, they are a $15 investment that will save you obviously when using an app like this navigating.
