For those suffering from touchscreen envy:

Mimo is taking pre-orders on the Mimo 720-S (http://www.mimomonitors.com/products/mimo-720-S), an 7-inch external touchscreen monitor that rotates and pivots to any desired angle. The 720-S is said to work with any Intel Mac and requires only a single USB connection.

WOW....for $230 you can get a netbook or a 23" LCD monitor...granted not a touch screen, but still...

A neat item, but I'll wait until they're $99

Yeah that price tag is a little bit on the steep side to be honest... Would be nice to have one of those though, not sure what I'd use it for though.

Tack on another $30 for drivers to enable the touch capability otherwise it's just another 7" screen.

Forget you, man.

That is awesome, I wonder how responsive it is and like irmongoose asked "is it Multitouch?".

My darling wife got me the non-touch version (710 not 720) of this for Xmas...cute little bugger and installed pretty painlessly. I use it to keep all my "Stickies" on....now I don't need any "real" paper stuck all around my monitor.

If anyone else has one and has found a novel use for it, please post.

Note to Mac OS X users: all driver software is included with purchase of
this monitor, no need for additional software driver purchases!

Aside from the use that fhall1 suggested, what else would be an efficient use of the small screen size of the monitor? Running iTunes, iCal, or writing some code? It's a cool device, but I would like to see the price come down before I consider it.
