Help me identify this hard drive!

First off, as soon as I get an answer that seems to be agreed upon, mods can delete this thread. I dropped it in the picture forum because I needed help identifying it with the picture this guy sent me.

So I just bought this Western Digital 1TB hard drive from the Facebook marketplace for $75 (a great deal for 1TB any day...plus this one is a dual 500GB RAID array). I was trying to look up more information about it but I'm not sure what model it is...

I think it's the WD Premium II 1TB, but I'm not sure. Just curious as to how good of a deal I actually scored and what kind of specs this monster has. The guy I purchased it from used it with his Mac Mini, so it's coming pre-formatted, which is a good thing :-)

Type in the serial number to WesternDigital's webpage and see what it says.

I don't have the hard drive yet...if all else fails though, I'll try doing that when I get it. I was just hoping someone might recognize it.

That's what I thought too...the different box threw me off, but I guess that could just be the other side of the box.

If that's the case, I saved a heck of a lot of money. He was selling it because he got a new 2TB drive and didn't need a TB sitting around unused. Go me :rolleyes:

Hate to rain on your parade there but have you considered it being one of those Chinese knock-offs?

But still it seems like a great deal :)

EDIT: Nvm, $25 off doesn't seem like a "too good to be true" price. I was looking at the 2TB on the Amazon website heh.

@KJmoon117 All the sites I've found the drive on are listing it for between $250 and $475 O.o
