I love the fact that the incipio feather doesn't cover the volume rocker or the vibrate/ring switch. One issue I have always had with silicone cases is that have a very small opening for the vibrate/ring switch. Its usually so small its impossible to use without digging in there.

I think the incipio feather has the right idea but the hard plastic and lack of coverage worries me about scratches..

Any thing on the market?

This is the silicone case that I have. I don't remember the brand, but I got it at the Apple store. The opening is sort of small, but I have no problems using the switch. Also notice that it has raised "buttons" that completely covers the actual volume rocker and power button. They work fine as well. I wasn't too sure about the case when I bought it since it was so different than anything else I had, but it turned out that I like it very much.

Thanks, it seems like the mute switch extends out pretty far in that case. I am curious as to the make I know you said you dont remember but hopefully someone will recognize it.

You could check out the iSkin Solo cases as well.

case-mate "second skin" doesn't cover the buttons.

Marware flexi-shell has cut outs. It's supposed to be the same material as the iskin solo.
