I recently JailBroke my little brothers iPod Touch and when I went to launch Cydia it just closed. I restored and re-jailbroke but its still doing the same thing. Anybody know about this??

have you downloaded anything else? for instance reporsitories or applications?

try a different computer or method to jailbreak it

Make sure you have wi-fi if you're opening Cydia so it can download and install the necessary files for it to run correctly.
Revise your jailbreaking steps. If necessary visit the iPhone Dev Team blog, there are a bunch of people there that can help you further.

The exact same thing happened to me as well, but the solution was simple for me : this happens when your iPod isn't connected. Connect it to your wi-fi network, and cydia should work just fine.
