Is the TomTom app over a GIG in size?

Also keep in mind that that is the download size - not how much it uses up when it's installed on your iPhone. I've got the western europe version which is a download size of about 1.4gb and it uses up 3gb of space on my phone!
All of the GPS are huge. I think there is only one under 1GB. Some won't install unless you have 3GB free on your phone.
Navigon is 1.29GB but install it requires 3.5GB and fills completely up to that, but then once install is complete it drops it to about 1.5
What do you expect? You've got mapping data for over 8 million miles of roads in the U.S. stored on your iPhone. I'm amazed they can get it that small.
I don't think that's exactly true. Supposedly they need that much space for installation but after that they drop into about 1.5GB in size.
x2.. that's what i figured out also.... deleted a couple of movies to get the "gps app" installed and then reinstalled the movie.
