I have the original dock for the iPhone 2G. It doesn't fit with my 3GS (with case or without), so I was wondering what is the cheapest option for a "dock extender" or whatever that would also work with a case?
Thanks

That seems very useful but why would I pay $30 for that when I can buy a dock for half that price..?

Also looks good but pretty expensive.. I think I will try to buy a $15 one off Amazon or something.

You wouldn't if you just had 1 dock. It's beneficial if you have multiple docks, car adapters, etc.

just buy a generic universal dock from ebay, 10$ with worldwide shipping and you're done.
the universal dock (that work with adapters) will fit every case, even the toughskin\otterbox.

Can you post a link of where I can get a universal dock?
I want a genuine product though, not something that is cheap and will break.. At least someone has reviewed or something. Thanks!

genuine apple dock will cost you four times more for nothing.
the only difference between them is a pop-up message when connect.
same build quality 1:1, i used the original and at home i have two copies from hong-kong (for about 3 month i think), work and looks exactly the same.

not to big and bulky great for amplifying honestly I can fill a room with music or listen to a podcast. easy to move sits by my laptop during the day at night my nightstand. $20 Griffin had free shipping and it not hard to find a discount code 20% so it cost $16 shipped oh it looks pretty cool too imo any way.

Thanks a lot, that Griffin one looks great!
One question. Would the Sendstation extender charge my iPhone 3GS if I plug it into the iPhone 2G included dock? Thanks!
