I think the problem might be because I don't have enough GB left.
I only have 121 GB available, and the Flash Player needs 148.

How do I fix this? Can I delete certain programs? What is your suggestion? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!

BAH?! Now we finally find out why Flash sucks so much on Macs: it's huge! ;)

Whatever you're reading about Flash, it's wrong. Try downloading directly from Adobe (or somewhere else).

Yeah... you need to click on it.

First Mac, I take it. First time installing anything on it, I take it.

That pic shows 2 things.

1. the amount of free disk space--128GB
2. the size of your hard drive.---148GB.

Has nothing to do with Flash player.

Like Tallest Sky said. Select the HD and then install it.

I did already before I even posted this-I'm not that thick, thanks.

It 'installs' it. But then I still can't download what I need to and it still prompts me to download flash player, even though it 'downloads' it.

Are you using Google Chrome? It doesn't support Flash at the moment.

No I am not.

A few other mac users I know are having the same problem getting on this site..if that makes any difference.

Actually Google Chrome 4 for Mac supports Flash now.
