I just jailbroke a 3G. When I enter Cydia and start to type, it's very laggy. Unbearable actually. Anyone seen this?

Do you have alot of sources? It seems like mine takes forever to load. I think updating all the sources causes some lag. I installed all sources and since then it's been taking a while. Unless you cancel the update.

I have not installed anything. This was the first time I was in it. I updated essentials and went back in...crazy lag.

Whew, thought it was just me. I just figured I'd installed too many sources or had too much crap going on and that's what was causing it. But yeah, it's crazy laggy when you try to type something in the search field, for example, like half a second or more between when you press the letter and it actually appears in the field.

yeah...cydia is always laggy.....use icy instead it much better

Nope..not just you and I didn't install any sources. Not sure why this is. It's not an issue on my 3GS.

Does Icy contain the same sources that Cydia does?
