Right on Mac is reporting [a secret white paper confirming that Jobs will tout his new product as "groundbreaking," and "breakthrough." This device has never been made natively for the Mac before now. It will offer unprecedented ease of use, and will streamline the work of
Mac users everywhere. It's not a Mac.]

I dont know about this... what do you guys think. Kinda sounds like a joke. Cant tell with the joke about a 2 button mouse. Would love to see a new toy if it were true.

I think a 2 button mouse is a good idea for Apple, but what are you crazy? A 5GB drive in a Mouse? I don't understand. Ah, I guess we will find out.

Damn, I think I need one of those blazing fast mice....
I spent too long reading that post.
If only I had clicked faster I wouldn't have wasted soo much time!

in almost every case, i like apple's take on computing better than the wintel world
the two button mouse is one of those things i like better about the pc...it simply gives you more options at your fingertip which is good as long as there are not too may buttons or options like that multi-button super trackball by kensington which is as coplicated as a gamepad
i've never been good at trying to keep more than two or three things in check at the same time but a two button mouse will be a breakthrough on the mac side if it ever becomes standard
i like the cascading menus that come off of the right button of the wintel mouse

I didnt think that the Mouse thing was real... but I have seen quotes simmaler to the one I posted about a "groundbreaking," and "breakthrough." new toy. I kinda guessed that a mouse witha 5 gig HD was a bit of a joke.
A 2 button would be nice though. I just had a explain to my dad (a Mac user for many many years) What a contol-click was and how it worked the same as a "right-click" I my self have a 3 button with a wheel. I love the look of the new Apple mouse... but saidly its still the the little plasic bag that it came in.

at the top of the artical it said "Guest edditor -Humor"
I think thats the guys name. Like I said before, I didnt think I was going to get a mouse with a 5gig HD. Just the secret white paper thing was intriguing to me. Many sites have broken stories about Apple saying things like that.

Talk about predicting the future. (of a joke, that is)
Check it out--just today (early this morning) I posted an idea about a two-button Apple mouse, and now look--some dingbat stole my idea and posted it as a joke.
Wow. I must be a prodigy or something. Oh well.
Enough ringing my own bell........

... doesn't that _tell_ you anything? (how many people do you see every
day named `humor'?)
>I think thats the guys name.
Um, the author's name was given as John Richter. "Humor" was the next
line (it was a suffixing qualifier to "Guest Editor").
