I have an old Quadra 660av that I'm planning to mod and use as a set-top box. This project is for fun: I don't expect to get TiVo-quality functionality out of it. I just had a quick question I thought someone could help me out with--Anyone know of a better program than Apple Video Player to record with (freeware, available online)? Keep in mind this is a 68040!

What OS is it running? OS8? OS9? That kind of info will dramtically affect the apps available.

I don't think TV existed back then 😀

I used to have an ATI TV device (can't remember the exact name). The device came with an ATI Xclaim VR video card I bought. The software allowed you to record video. You might trying downloading from the ATI site.
