Mac Pro for editing.... 30 inch monitor question.

The time has come to spend some long Dollars in a complete editing suite for myself as a freelance editor.

My question is around the 30 inch monitors, as far as I can tell there is no immediate planned product update and I'm wondering if anyone has heard anything?? I don't want to buy 2 30" if there is an upgrade on the horizon.

Apple doesn't publish any details to it's user-base regarding new releases. Everyone on those boards will only know as much as you do. ...But that doesn't mean there ain't speculations floating about or rumors, this after all is MacRumors!
